Extra fields do not copy when you move the image

I moved about 30 photos from one category into another, and the 'extra fields' did not copy.

All the 'normal' fields copied, (6 of them), but all extra's did not move.... will this be fixed ??

That is correct. Additional extra fields are EXPLICITLY setup on individual categories those would not move when you move an image. You would need to define those for your other categories.

Crap. If I have a category like 'Eastern Europe' with 6 extra fields, and I create one under it called 'Hungary' with the same fields, can I move from Europe->Hungary without losing the 6 extra?

regular extra fields you should be able to fill out and the info is stored in the photos table

The additonal ones are stored by category and each is tied per category so they are not going to copy over if you move a photo

Any plans to increase the amount of fields that would copy over? This is a serious problem on my end...

You can create suggestions in our suggestions forum

This is just not how the unlimited additional fields operate because they are stored as arrays in different tables against the categories and photo entries they are created for.
