Avatar Path Greetings Chuck! Thanks for the awesome products, I really enjoy them... I ran across a most likely "rare" issue, but I thought I'd let you know. I have both PhotoPost and Classifieds and running under 4.02. I was exploring the idea of having a CDN host my images. I moved all my avatars to the host (along with all the site images as well)... Within VB, you can input full paths to your image files and have the images pull in from other locations - like the avatars.... So when I changes all my avatars to: http://www.mycdn.com/images/avatar.gif Classifieds and PhotoPost rendered the avatar path as: http://www.mysite.com/http://www.myc...ges/avatar.gif I know, this may seem minor, but I thought I'd let you know about it. |
well the setting in vbulletin is meant to be a relative path like /customavatars etc to my knowledge If your entering a full url and it works then maybe in your vb3.php files in our products find this line and remove the global vbulletin statement Code: Content visible to verified customers only.{$Globals['vbulletin']}/ |
