| Copying to new category loses exif
I just noticed that when I copy a members picture to a new category, for instance the POTW Finalist, it loses the option to view exif in the new category.
Here is the original where you can view exif. In full flight. - BytePhoto Galleries
if you view it here in the POTW finalist category, exif no longer is avail? In full flight. - BytePhoto Galleries
Shouldn't it display in each category?

I would have to look at it I would suspect that exif info is done on the actual true photos and copying to a new photo would not extract exif because none exists.
Are you talking about editing a photo and using the copy function?

yes, using the copy function by going into the Edit Photo that allows to copy to more categories.
Isnt that just tagging it for another category and not actually creating a second file?

Right but when you copy a photo to a new category all you do is create a new photo table entry. It is not going to place an entry in the exif table for that new photo showing exif info.

You can try adding the code in bold where noted in editphoto.php but no official support for this Code: Content visible to verified customers only.
