| Missing EXIF Icon
Hi,
I have recently upgraded from a Photopost 5.3/phpbb2 installation where EXIF was disabled. I ran the upgrade to 7.01, re-integrated with vb4, enabled EXIF, made sure jhead was installed and then rescanned for EXIF.
Information has been populated in the EXIF table and '1' is appearing in the exifinfo column in the photos table against photo's with EXIF data.
Display EXIF is enabled in options.
But no view EXIF icon is visible?!
EDIT: Nevermind I've found it hiding in the Photo Options drop down menu! Doh!
Alex

is it possible to show exif info in photo details by default instead of having to go to the photo options drop down menu?

You mean you have a hard time seeing the dropdown that says photo options?

If you have jhead on your server and setup your photopost to extract exif and there is exif extracted there will be an exif icon. If there is not one then you probally arent extracting exif from the files.

I was actually talking about the drop down ( on the top right of the showphoto page)that gives you the option to print or show exif. It seem to be lacking from my install.

There is no drop down on your site as your not running a vbulletin install from what I see. The dropdown is only on vbulletin sites. At any rate as I have stated if you do not have jhead installed on the server and are not extracting exif your not going to have an exif icon. It will not show if there is not any exif for a photo.

exif is only extracted on a photo when jhead is installed on the server. Photopost does not use php exif and nothing would be extracted if thats what your expecting.
You can read this if you want to try code hacking but there is no product support for that. http://www.photopost.com/forum/1286404-post2.html |
