Display photo sorting not working correctly

I noticed that the sort feature within a users gallery does not sort correctly.
I have my sort options as follows:
Sort by: Posted Date
Timeframe: Beginning
Order Decending
View: Gallery
Per Page: 90
My sort options should display all the photos by this user Decending by posted date so that the very last pictures they posted should be on the top row, but instead his 2010 pictures are in the middle rows.
If you look at all the posted dates of the pictures, you will see they dont resemble and form or descending order. I changed my sort to Ascending and no changed happened.

Are there options within PP admin we need to change? or is this a coding error.

hmm not sure. Was there one after that? Steve knows this answer better than me. He is off helping someone with their website. Guessing he wont be back for at least an hour or 2.
I checked in the PP Admin area and I only see listed v7 Is there someplace else I can check so I don't always have to wait for Steve?

You should make sure your using the latest downloaded code as we have fixed alot of bugs.

ok, well Steve is home now and he said he downloaded the 12-30 download on 12-31 and replaced everything.

Chuck, the link you gave is an example of how it does not work.
I noticed you selected the last comment sort which should have brought the last photo commented to the top of the page. But instead the last comment on Buddy's barn door picture was made by him on Mon, March 27, 2006 1:11am

I can also no longer sort pictures in my favs or see the titles or even the user name that those favs belong to in the default gallery display. I added a list of new favs yesterday that were there yesterday and no longer there today. I just went to some of the photos I knew I set as my favs and thought I would reset it. So went into the photo options to click add as favs, and sure enough it says "Remove from favs" which means its set to my favs but does not even show up when I click my favs link to see them all.

Also,if I go to the gallery index, I see the gallery view I had defaulted to.
Then I look below where it gives me the option to see more photos by clicking "1" which I would expect to show me the pictures that are uploaded in the past day, or choose the "7" expecting last 7 days.
Again, this search pulls up a bunch of thumbnails that I can no longer browse with titles, user names or even dates they were uploaded.
For each of these scenarios, after I chose those options, I was then stuck on that page. I could no longer go back, just forward. Even hitting my browser back button just continually went into the same search routine. The only way to get out of it is to start all over again by going to gallery index but never able to go beyond the first page.

Users are having problems even when there are directly in the contest category area.

If they choose any option on the right :
Recent Photos 1 day 7 days 14 days all
Hitting any of those just gets you a list of untitled thumbnails and your stuck again and can't go back, only forward.

This was a bug reported fixed and is no longer an issue from what I can see.

If I do a sort its sorted by views desc look its sorted fine. remember that one photo is stickied so unstick it

yes I know about my stuck picture

I always have one stuck picture usually one that shows finalists to remind everyone to vote. I think in Buddy's gallery things were going wacky. I tried the search on my desktop and it seemed to work.
On my laptop now where it didnt, so will go check again just in case.
Wouldnt think it would be related to the computer I'm using, but stranger things have happened.

I dont know your sort seems to work for me so not unless you have some persistent stuck cookies in which case you want to clear your browser cookies and try again.
