| Problems when activation SEO
Hello,
I'm new in PhotoPost and I have a few questions. I want to create a standalone Photo Gallery. NOT integrated in vBulletin. But I have vB-forums also. I use the newest PhotoPost Version (PhotoPost PHP Pro v7.0
Build: 12/18/09 8:40 PM).
I like to have Search Engine Optimization. Because of this, I activate " SEO" under PhotoPost administration-options. And I rename the HTACCESS to .htaccess. Everything with the gallery-naming runs fine. BUT then, I try to go to my profile, member list or other integrated parts of PhotoPost and get "file not found" errors, because the htaccess translates this also to something SEO usable, but not existable.
When I change SEO back to "none" and delete the htaccess, everything runs fine again.
How can I activate the SEO correctly without the above problems?
Thank you in advance
Frank

Originally Posted by Chuck S well please provide a url example because if I go to my site everything runs fine and no one else has experienced file not found errors | Let me specify the problem more exactly: When SEO is activated (including .htaccess) the functions in the left menu of " profile" (german: "profil") seems to be out of order, see attachment.
A click oft Posts (in "Profile") leads to "m2-frank-protype6.html", change profile to "m2-frank-protype0.html", invitations to "m2-frank-protype5.html". But nowhere seems to be functions behind this files. I have already switched back to not SEO and see, otherwise there are functions to see.
All other bad filenames seems to be gone. Perhaps the problem was, that I have no photos in the gallery while testing the first time.

Are you using the latest code base downloaded very recently? This sounds like a bug in older code last week.

Like this --> Code: Content visible to verified customers only.
Seems to be the same.
Perhaps I can give you an admin user tomorrow evening?

Remark: It's a new installation. All modifications should be in the mysql database.
