Category Image

We have decided to move from vBGallery to PhotoPost. We wanted to know if there is a built-in way in PhotoPost to assign and image/icon to a category like in vBGallery, or if we have to customize templates to do so.

Please note that I do not want to use an image thumbnail, but actually setup a category image as you can do in vBGallery.

Thanks.

In Photopost you can tag an image to be used as a catavatar or make it be the first uploaded image in a category.

Hello, that is exactly what I said we did not want to do.

I need to write a cusotm importer to import the graphics from vBGallery, since we have 2000 categories, more or less, and doing it in this method takes longer.

I can only tell you how it works

We have an importer to import categories and photos from vbgallery to photopost pro already so not sure why you need to write some custom importer.

Because I wanted to import the category images in vBGallery, which are setup in a different way - from the category manager. No problem, we coded the thing ourselves.
