Layout in Firefox buggy

Hi everybody,

I just installed PhotoPost Pro on my webspace. After making some configurations I added the first categories and uploaded some pictures. Everything worked fine so far. But now I noticed some display problems with Mozilla Firefox.

First take a look at my installation on the Internet Explorer 7:

Here is PhotoPost on Firefox 3.0.10:

Some vertical lines dont show (thumbnail border, calendar). When changing the browsers width those lines show up sometimes and others disappear. I strongly guess that this can be solved in the stylesheet by adding special codes for firefox. I guess all users have this problem? When using another theme it is still there too.

The size of the boxes on the sidebar is fixed in Firefox (looks better), but in IE7 its with is variable. This should be solved to a unique look.

I changed the width of the sidebar from 20% to 150px. But look how the width differs at these two browsers.

Can someone help me? I guess experienced users (or programmers) know where to search

Greetings,
Steve

First off your layout is not buggy in Firefox.

Your layout is off in IE

What happens if you change the style in layout options in admin?

what is the url to your gallery

Whatever layout I choose (and I did not change anything in the templates or stylesheets yet) - the result stays the same.

The actual url is USA Views - Main Index. I will change it to my current url http://www.usa-views.com/ when I finished my work. The only category filled with images is Arizona / Arizona in general. Thats where the screenshots are from.

USA Views - Main Index

Your site looked fine in my Mozilla, Opera, Safari and IE browsers although my IE is version 8.

You can try in the ppopen template under $ppopenside change the 100% on the widths to say possibly whatever width you want them to be.

Now that is a strange one. When I noticed the display problem I was at work. Now I am back home, and when I look at my gallery on my home pc with the same Firefox version 3.0.10 there are no display problems. Just the sidebar box widths differ still, but that is nothing I would worry about too much. So forget about this bugreport; it is something related to my pc at work.

what I am saying is your pictures show the issue is with the IE browser not Mozilla thus your report should say layout buggy in IE.
