| No X to close window
I know there was a thread about this problem but I can not find it doing search.
After updating to 6.21 I have lost the X and Close window at bottom right of my light box image .
I got feeling its to do with over writing the js files but have no idea what to do to get my X back. |

Maybe that would work too. There java seems to have issues finding those files and there is no way we can fix the full site path in there so its a hand edit if the images cant be found.

Changing the URL use to work, but not this time. There is something different going on at least with my installation of the latest version. I really need this to work. It doesn't look very polished otherwise.
Thanks

It's set to that right now and the site is open if you want to try it out. I think you know which site. I have tried clearing any cache I can think of on this end to make sure, but you never know. The urls do work when entered in a browser so they are pointing to the right place.
Thanks

Actually sorry have no idea what site you have. The domains you have listed in your members area for photopost and classifieds do not exist

I thought you might as I had sent in a reply to a ticket early yesterday over this issue and one other one. I haven't received a reply which is why I am in the forums this morning. I would prefer responses to the solution in the forum anyways.
The licences are updated with the correct url.
Thanks

well there is no way to css a source of a popup window
You sure your updating the lightbox. js file that exists in the gallery/ js directory?
If you edit that file and make sure it is uploaded the images will show.

| Ummm. When did that get changed? :-)
I also didn't need the full url. I just had to add the /gallery directory to the front like usual.
Thanks

This post helped me, but I feel that the lightbox javascript should be re-located back to the root photopost directory - or somehow referenced as an item that requires manual updating in the install instructions.

Agree to this!
Chuck, did you see, that also here in the Live Demo the closing pic isn't shown? My Test Pic - PhotoPost Photo Gallery
In IE I see the "x" for the missing picture and can find the closing link. In Firefox I see nothing and have no chance to close the lightbox (if I don't know what's missing).

Maybe this would help Code: Content visible to verified customers only.
The problem with this js is we cant provide an automatic solution for everyone. Its not like we can plugin php variables in the js to tell the script where images are.

Chuck I am having the same issue after upgrading to 7.02 from 6.02 I added the full URL like I did the last time, but still not working. I can see the close image if I copy and paste the full URL to a browser... I would show you a example, but it is a password protected site for testing only like you told me to do last year...
FYI I just tried it on the pictures here and it does the same thing. I am using Firefox 3.6.3, but when I use IE on Windows 7 it shows the close image...

If you place the full proper url to the actual image it will indeed work.
