Sorry Chuck, of course I don't expect you to diagnose problems with my home network, I just wondered if anybody else here was having the same problem and might be able to help.
One thing that has changed recently is that I now have a multi-NAT setup with a range of IP addresses rather than a single one from my ISP. Does the upload process involve some server side recognition of IP addresses or something affected by that?
I admit I'm clutching at straws here. None of my users have reported upload problems thank goodness, it's just me :-(

The upload process just requires that files are uploaded and you hit submit to process them.

As stated if you get a blank page the error we see caused by big files. Now obviously thats not your issue. I would suspect somewhere your network is causing the page to stop for whatever reason. Grasping at a straw is right. Possibly does your home network have any error reporting?

Problem solved! Something in my router's firewall (possibly the spi setting) was stopping the upload. Re-setting to factory defaults cured the problem. It's a Draytek Vigor 2800 if anyone has this trouble.

Thanks for your patience Chuck.
