Exclamation Uploadphoto.php: Inaccurate disk space figures

*See screen shot attached please...

The upload photo page gives the space used and available on my account in both kilobytes and bytes. The byte figure is good, but the kb figure is off for both allowed and remaining space, but *not* for used space. It looks quite odd because according to the kb figure I've used four times my allotted space, but at the same time still have most of my allotted space left.

Any idea if this is in fact a bug or if there is a fix for this? Thanks!

Try redownloading the build and upload uploadphoto.php and see if that helps. There was a bug I fixed earlier a few weeks ago.

Thanks for the quick reply Chuck. I just downloaded Photopost Pro 6.2 tonight. I'm using it with vBulletin and after uploading the files and running the upgrade script for 6.2 from 6.11 it still appears the figures are incorrect.

Thanks Chuck! It looks like that helped, but the numbers are still off a tad, but it's so little now I'm not overly concerned about it. Is this a limitation of Photopost or just in general?

Here is what the figures read now after making the changes you mentioned above:

Disk space allowed on your account: 75,000kb (76,800,000 bytes)
Disk space used on your account: 796kb (815575 bytes)
Disk space remaining for your account: 74,204kb (75984425 bytes)

Checking them on a conversion site from kb to bytes tells me that the first figure, "Disk Space Allowed on my Account" is correct, however disk space used on my account looks to be off as well as disk space remaining. According the the kb numbers above the bytes number should be as follows:

Disk space used on your account: 796kb (815104 bytes)
Disk space remaining for your account: 74,204kb (75984896 bytes)

As you can see it's very close to the original bytes figure, but still off a bit.

I suppose you're asking for a link to my gallery? If so, you can view it here:

Running those through a calculator shows me they are all correct divided by 1024

Remember when you format them to numbers in PHP they will be rounded up or down accordingly. For 796kb we are not going to display 796.4599609735

Chuck - I saw this thread and have downloaded the recent build and uploaded "uploadphoto.php". However the Disk Space Used figure seems to be off by 1000. It is showing bytes instead of Kbytes. See below.

Thanks,

Jim

Disk space allowed on your account: 5,000kb (5,120,000 bytes)
Disk space used on your account: 278,164kb (278164 bytes)
Disk space remaining for your account: 4,728kb (4841836 bytes)
