Image links change when moved to another album.

I noticed an issue that has probably been address before.

PP is providing links to photo posts for a reason, to hotlink and use them where you want. However, if you move an image to another album (category), the link is broken.

There needs to be a way where the link will remain the same, once uploaded, rather than changing..

This would not be a bug necessarily there. Your posting a hard coded image link to a photo and when you move it then it exists somewhere else thats how its broke.

true. but can there not be a way where the link stays true, regardless of the move?

Maybe a future request then? Move accordingly.

well to my knowledge bbcode does not allow script links therefore it is the problem that you must post a true link to the photo when you move the photo its physical location is changed.

maybe it could be set that if that image is not found, display a default image such as a logo or something ;-)
