Upload Limitations

We would like to add a function that will only allow users to upload a maximum of 5 images in a 24 hour period.

We have found code in the "uploadphotos.php" file and edited to show below:
Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.
This code does not appear to be working. Please advise.

Also we only wish to allow our users to have 100 uploads on non-subscribed accounts. Could this code be inserted at this point. We are really pleased with how the software is working and how the site is running, these last two minor changes should make perfectly captured the perfect site for us.

You can set the number of uploads from the admin area under the usergroups. There is no need to edit code.

The 2nd part would need custom coding, but you could set non-subscribers upload limit to 1 per day as an incentive to register?

Thank you, that has limited the uploads for us.

Is there any way to incorporate the 100 uploads lockout easily? or is that going to be hard?

Thanks a bunch for solving that first one.

I'm not a coder so this is only a guess as to how it may work

Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.
But maybe someone could help you better.

Why the heck are you doing that? There are plenty of places people can upload photos. If you don't want your users using your site, they'll leave.

I beleive he is doing this as it looks like he is trying to entice subscribers. Thats the beauty of the software jdougher you choose which options to use or not to use. Actually the daily upload limit was at the time one of our biggest user suggestions. Most features in this software are user suggestions.
