Upload Error

Many of our Members have reported an upload error using PCs, and I've tried using Safari, Opera and FireFox on a Mac. This is the error when you click on 'Select Files'

Quote:
Error: Error #2176: Certain actions, such as those that display a pop-up window, may only be invoked upon user interaction, for example by a mouse click or button press.

If I switch the Flash uploader off, I can upload without any problems. Turn the Flash uploader back on, and the problem comes back.

Having done a bit of snooping around on the internet, I've learned there may be an issue between Flash v9 and Flash v10. The following article is quite interesting...

In the meantime, I have switched off our Flash uploader and gone back to the old way - shame, as the Flash uploader is brilliant.

The flash uploader is currently not operational with flash 10 this is a known issue. As such since this is external software from another company once they release a version compatible with flash 10 we will include it in our software. This is the exact reason we included an on off switch for this feature.

Great. I knew you'd already be onto this.

I'll keep my eye out for a PhotoPost update.

Yes at this point we are just waiting for the compatible version to get out of beta with SMFUpload.
