Photo not uploading... linked to Description?

We have been experiencing a weird occurrence... our users try to upload a photo (I have made the php limit changes as suggested in another thread) which is under the file size limit.. and after the first upload page it says it is processing the photo and then nothing.. no photo is to be found. I have also cleared the Upload directory on numerous occasions. It appears to be somehow linked to the Description field? Because when they don't put anything in the Description textarea, it processes the image and takes them to the second upload page (where they are able to put a Description in). Does anyone know why this is happening and how to fix it?

how big is the description they are putting on the photo?

Ummm.. not sure. Is there a limit or somewhere I can change the limit?

well the only restriction I know of is a server uri one and you can not change that on a normal server account hense why I asked how big it is because the photo description has nothing to do with the upload process in any manner when doing images so I am trying to connect the dots and understand the issue. Are you able to upload without issue? If so you need to get more info from these specific users.
