A valid point of view; however, the majority of our users who provided their two cents took a different opinion and asked for us to build it in with the option to turn it off. If it doesnt work for you or you don't want to use it, you aren't forced to.

Michael has stated when they have a supported final release of the uploader that is no longer in beta we will include that within our application to support flash 10

Michael to my knowledge is waiting on a final version from SWFUpload people that is not beta software as he has stated in this thread. To my knowledge they are still on Beta 3.
