Image upload issue - open_basedir restriction in effect.

Quote:
Warning: file_exists() [function.file-exists]: open_basedir restriction in effect. File(/usr/bin/jpegtran) is not within the allowed path(s): (/home/xxxxxx:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php:/tmp) in [path]/gallery/image-inc.php on line 592
This is the error message I get while uploading images from the uploads folder. Not tried other ways but wondering what is causing this. Tried a few searches on here but couldn't find any issues.

Clean install of latest version and integrated with vb3.

Any help appreciated.

In admin global options clear the paths for jpegtran as you can not use it since your open_basedir is set on the servers PHP.

I've cleared the image path and it's still happening which seems a bit odd. Whats really strange is that it's also happening on non gallery pages :S.

If you cleared that setting in global options the same error can not happen again

Yup thats what I'd have expected but for some unknown reason it's still there and the path is definitely cleared.

That would not be possible that I see that same error that is. your free to post a test login and url here.

If the jpegtran spot in global options is empty then we dont use jpegtran

Actually scratch that I'm an absolute moron.

I've some how managed to copy the error message while changing header templates in notepad.

Sorry for causing you bother about this, sometimes the most obvious thing should be the first thing to check.

Not a problem that is why the forums are here. Most people can find an answer if they searched so it is nice to see that for a change.
