Private album viewable on index

I'm on 6.02 and just uploaded a private album.

Question is since I'm the admin is it normal to see the contents of the private album on the index page/recent photos/block ?

If your an admin sure. Admins are allowed to see everything. You may want to login as a regular user to see the difference.

Another question. Ive got a page with about 100 small gif pics (100x40 pixels each). and I want to use the URL to upload to the gallery. Problem is when I try the URL it just loops back to the gallery home.

What could cause that? If I try it with an external link something like Yahoo it works fine just not when I try it off my own site.

FYI, the page isn't a gallery or a forum page. Even tried it with a URL with only 20 small gif pics and got the same problem.

If you have an html page that has img tag links then we will parse that page if you use the full page url and check the download from url option

Is it an actual html page?

Thats what I did. Used the page URL and the download from URL option. Just loops back if its on my own site. Off site it works fine. Thats why I'm a little stumped.

well what is the url? I can try looking at the page source and see if I see anything

It is looking for <img src=\"" and the tags on that page are way old html tags and not in the standard format which is why those little images are not seen.
