PP has a problem with other language characters

I really need a fix for this problem.

Whenever I post descriptions for games I copy them from another resource, I don't retype them completely for my gallery.

Here is an example:

France 1940. Behind the façade of stability a secret, desperate, and cruel war of liberation has already begun. As a spy, saboteur, and partisan of the French resistance movement, the Résistance, you will also get involved in this fight.

The omnipresent enemy keeps everything under control and reacts on every kind of resistance in a barbarous and brutal way. An open military confrontation would be a lost cause.

Therefore, another way has to be found to fight the enemy. You conspire against the Nazis, operate underground, and pretend to be a harmless civilian. This way you can deceive and infiltrate the Nazis to strike secretly. But don't fall in the hands of the Gestapo that even plants spies in the resistance groups

When I try to do a bulk upload, instead of processing the images at all it takes me to a completely dead page. I mean dead dead, white background with black text like a server error has happened.

I've pinpointed the problem down to these descriptions having characters other than pure English characters. In the above description you will notice the words "façade" and "Résistance".

I've never had this problem with any of the previous versions of PP that I've used, but since my upgrade to 6.01 I've experienced this error multiple times.

Can I please get a fix or instructions on what code I need to change so that I stop getting this error and it processes the images that have these and other frequently used "special characters" in the English language?

Upload and then things go blank

This thread should help just sounds like the age old memory issue PHP is exhausting its memory

I am still having this problem. I have narrowed it down to if I try to upload an image with a ' in it, it will not upload the image and it errors out. I believe it may do it if there is one in the description to. My php-inc.php file already has these lines in it, yet I still get the error:

ini_set("memory_limit", "48M");
ini_set("max_execution_time", 0);

Can you please give me the code to fix this problem. It's very annoying trying to upload and constantly getting this error and to fix it I have to remove the description and if I get it again then it's because the title I gave the image has an ' in it.

Can you please help.

If you get a white page your server is timing out in regards to PHP.

Feel free to send an email with appropriate access's for us to take a look if you think you have an issue and is this a completely unmodified Photopost?
