If more than 10 images uploaded...

- PP 6.1
- vB 3.7
- Integrated

If I upload more than 10 images, On the next page (next 10), PP automatically enters a "/" in the description field and the keywords from the 10th image on the previous page.

This happens even if I don't provide a description or set of keywords for all the photos.

For example:

Photo upload #9
Title: Ya ya
Description: Ya ya
Keywords: things and such

Photo upload #10
Title: Blah blah
Description: Blah blah
Keywords: stuff and more

(Next page)

Photo upload #11
Title:
Description: /
Keywords: stuff and more

Photo upload #12
Title:
Description: /
Keywords: stuff and more

..and so on

Can you please provide an email to support at email dot com with logins and a url and sufficient pics to try and replicate this. I have tested this on my site with no luck there as we either have those fields blank or if you enter a base desc on the initial upload page we enter those. On bulkupload you are free to enter description and keywords you wish or leave them blank or as noted pass an initial desc.

the funny thing is, after the update, if I do it the same, it does the same thing, and then on the 3rd page, there will be //, the next page, ///

It adds one extra / for each next page you have..

The update to 6.1?

Well I dont see anywhere in the code where we would be adding a / in the description or keyword. I made sure I reuploaded all 6.1 files and I can replicate this for descriptions but not keywords. Now I will investigate more but you can find this line in bulkupload twice and add the line below it in bold

Chuck, that code won't work if you are attaching BBcode links to the description because it strips the / out of it..

I can confirm that this happens. The second page of a multipage batch upload puts a single / in the description, adding one more / for every subsequent page after. This never happened prior to the 6.1 upgrade, so it's definitely something introduced in 6.1

Without the applied coding, I am getting this now. the \ and / increase after each page of the bulkuploader

upgraded to 6.2 btw

I think the new beta is actually adding the \\ - I don;t think I had those before either.
