Problem with excessive Post Count

I put roughly 170 images in the upload directory and ran a single upload into a personal album. After I worked through some of the images and deleted a few I noticed that my vbulletin post count was 4,294,967,279

This was resolved in using the maintenance features in the vb admincp, but I've seen this before on another site I used to own. On occasion, there would be 1-5 users with post counts over 4 billion.

The strange thing is the current site is new. Today it is still using the standard vbulletin theme, is running vb 3.7.1, and has less than 10 users. I also chose not to allow Photopost uploads or comments to increase vb post counts.

What is even more interesting is that another site I own, which has been on vbulletin and PP-Pro for over two years, has never had this issue. It is running the latest versions of both vb and PP, but not all of my preferred plug-ins (or vbseo).

In the past, vbulletin "eluded" to an older bug that was the cause of this but I'm wondering if it isn't something to do with PhotoPost Pro.

I wish I had checked my posts before the upload, but didn't think about it.

Any thoughts?

We only update the post count in two places; adding a comment and adding a photo (if these features are enabled). Unless these routines were called billions of times, it wouldn't be our code.
