What are you trying to report though?
If you allow unregistered users the ability to post photos or comments they are going to post them?
I do not see any issue there. If you do not wish unregistered users to post comments or photos you can turn off that ability in Admin => Edit Usergroups.

Hi Chuck, I hope to succeed to explain well.. Quote:

Not from what I see here somehow you allowed a guest to upload as everything is permissions based in our software.
See his userid on the photo userid 0. Unless you give guests posting permission I dont see any other way this would happen
Feel free to post a test login here

Hi Chuck, reopen this topic.... :-(
Please, see my gallery, many comment now are without owner...
many I have corrected them, but theare are some still
some users write me that they logged in gallery apparently ok, but when they try to write, upload or comment, these are anonymous.
Some time happens, not always, but frequently.
Temporary solution? perhaps it must make that if the user ID is 0 it cannot write whit messate "you are not logged in, please contact administrator"
tnx in advance
rob

This is indeed strange, I can't see anything that would suggest why this is happening. A userid of 0 means they dont have upload and if I try to go to the uploadphoto.php script I get an error and login.
Are these possibly user accounts that have been deleted from your system?

Hi Michael,
the owner of all photos with ID 0 I have adjust manually, but the comments I have not adjusted, are alot of comments.
Now I have checked the database with phpmyadmin, apparently without errors, but I am not a developer.

Are you running an unmodified version of PhotoPost? Current version?

I can't explain it; I don't get an upload option when I am on your site and I don't see how someone with a userid of 0 could.

My impression is that it is a problem of coockies and IPB integraton.
The IPB forum users make the login, upload and comment, normally the 95%
Random, users some time make the login apparently correct, therefore they have the upload link in navigation menu, make the upload apparently correct, but the upload is anonymous.
Same for comments.

This happened to me too (integrated with SMF).
Only with one user.
Its a user that normally never go to the forum, and enter directly to PP, so when post a comment or upload a photo just have ID = 0.
If he go to the forum and post something, then no more problems in PP.

If he go to the forum and post something, then no more problems in PP. | yes, seems a similar problem, and it happens very frequently.
see the recent comments at the end of the index: TevacPhoto

Reopen this topic for more information that can be useful, I hope...
If I open Photopost normally and click "send photos", I have this situation: Immagine 3.jpg
the same situation if I open photophost after that the cookies in IPB forum is changed Immagine 2.jpg
If the cookies is changet, I not result logged in (no name, no MP and no left menu in navigation bar) but I have admin link and send photos link in right menu on navigation bar.
In send photos windows, the info is related to my account, but my username not appear in the first table
In this situation, if I send a photo this appears anonymous
I hope to be useful to the developers
