New Users not recognized

I've recently upgraded from vBulletin 3.6.8 to 3.6.9 to 3.6.10 (soon to switch to 3.7, I hope). I believe this happened going from 3.6.9 to 3.6.10 (not sure really).

New forum members aren't being recognized by Photopost. At the top of the page, this error is also showing up:

Quote:
Warning: mysql_fetch_row(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /var/hsphere/local/home/jkatz/pets-n-people.net/photopost/pp-inc.php on line 4132
In addition, there is an option to "register"; however, when the member attempts to register, this error message shows up:

Quote:
Our records show that you have already registered under the name of xxxxxxxxxxx. If you have lost your password, click here. If you would like to modify your profile, click here.
How can I fix this?

Do you have a test login? That error just tells me something is wrong with the usergroups table query of photopost which may really have nothing to do with vbulletin.

Eeek, I thought you were looking for admin access ... I've just sent you a login where you'll see the original error in my post above.

Sorry.

Its saturday come on now If new users are not recognized my suggestion is you login as admin and make sure for your user database settings your settings for the vb database are correct. Especially if you moved servers.

Glad you get some time off now & then.

OK, let me make sure I'm understanding you correctly ... you want me to change:

User Database Host (enter same info as above if not integrating with a third party forum)

from: mysqlblade1.worldispnetwork.com (current setting)
to: mysql4.worldispnetwork.com (where my webhost moved me)

Right? And nothing beyond that?

Just open your forum config file and make sure the database host database name username and password are all correct to the new mysql.

Yes, it is correct (using the IP instead of the mysql4......) so that can't be causing my problem.

However, in the area I mentioned above, it still has the old mysqlblade1....

I was waiting for you to return before I attemped that change in the photopost admin settings. Shall I try it?

Yes your database settings must be correct for photopost and the user database.

Thank you, Chuck! You rock! I was afraid I was going to have to rebuild all sorts of things.

It worked. Back on track here! Thanks again! If you were here, drinks would be on me!
