Your server's PHP has a maximum 2mb upload size unless you alter php settings so any file larger than that will be deleted by your server

ok hosting provider changed my php upload limit to 5mb, but still same problem for even very small pictures, less then 800k.
Could it be something else doing this?

well how about having your host set max execution time to 0 as if it takes longer than the current 30 seconds to upload the video your server will drop it thats what i suspect.

yes just 8mb but pictures uploaded are less then 1mb
and also if i change post max size above 8 mb
then instead taking user to category it takes them to upload page.
no uploaded picture, no saved picture.

well clearly if php is set to allow larger uploads then ask your host if its restricted in your apache setup or possibly also there is the php.conf file
Your being restricted by the server somehow.

what i don't understand is that some of the files are uploaded just fine and some will not upload. The file sizes are all about the same.
This is clearly not a server upload restriction, nor php restriction since some pictures upload and some don't
Can you think of anything else or could there be something with photopost itself?

ok here it is uploaded
Picture 1: size 944k works fine
Picture 2: size 930k does not upload
picture 3: size 928k works fine
picture 4: size 819k does not upload
now you explain to me where is the restriction when half of them upload and half don't. Clearly restrictions are not the problem.

That makes no sense. If your server drops an upload then its gonna drop it on size. You can pm a url and admin login
and as much info as file types etc to try and make sense of it
