Exclamation User can't delete photo

What's odd is he was able to delete other photos but not the only one left. I just noticed in admin log that he was able to delete the others.

But on the last photo he has, he gets:

Quote:
/path/00015.jpg -> /path/00015.jpg Copy of the file failed. Operation cancelled.
The uploads and data dir were 755. I did a chmod -R 777 and this even didn't work.

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance! (this is 6.01)

I would suggest you recheck permissions are 777 at every level. You can also try deleting the photo yourself and see what happens. What is the permissions on that file?

Sorry for the delay Chuck. I've been busy with other fires.

So this is the latest from the user:

Quote:
i was able to delete the pic, used the horizontal pics on the top row above the pic, since there were two pics left in my profile of the same picture, i picked the one that could be deleted, then the one that couldnt was able to be deleted, strange though when i did the pic showed no thumbnail. any way its done, linux is awesome, just like everthing else, life has its quirks
I hope this helps. To answer your question all pics appeared to be 777, yet I could not delete it as him. He figured out the workaround.

Is this a bug?

I am not sure if there really is any issue. He states he clicked a thumbnail in the next prev thumbs went to his photo edited it and deleted it so it was deleted. So in essense he is saying it deleted for him.

I cant say anything about your issue because you seem to be talking about a delete operation but have posted a modified error message which shows a cat move option not delete and without the original unaltered message its hard to comment.

Prior to him getting the workaround, I did login as him and when I tried to delete it... I got the move error message.

Hope that helps.

errors moving are usually category permissions not being set to 777 but he really did not do any workaround he just went and deleted his photo it looks like.
