The point is that I had to figure it out myself and hack the file. Why isn't this in the latest version of code if you identified it a year ago???

and if the bug is still there, is it possible that the "recent comments", "random photos" etc palletes might also still show mature thumbnails? I've tested it now and it definately does show - so unless I have old files, the bugs are still there.

well this is an old discussion

I think the developer added some of what is posted here and might have missed a step as there are several discussions and posts even one by him on mature stuff elsewhere.

What I just posted works fine because the overall line to set the non numeric mature to ismature numeral is in image-inc.php

I tested before I posted. remember a user has to purposely set in his profile that he does not want to see mature content for the filter to work. If yours is set to NON BLOCK mature content you will see it.
