false rating when voting

when photos are entered in the competition, the rating of the picture is the number of votes which it has been given, which give a false reading.

ie 3 votes and the picture gets a rating of 3.

Can something be done to prevent this happening please? Ideally votes and ratings should use a seperate system.

Hello

If your using the latest code 6.0 this has already been done meaning votes have been moved into their own field. You can reset your votes and then update your software and this should be fine.

In older code the whole purpose of the software is a category was either voting or rating you where not meant to switch between the two ratings types.
