Categories don't display

Greetings! My host recently upgraded php to 5.2.5, mysql to 5.0.45 and apache to 1.3.39 on the server. At the time, we were running PhotoPost Pro ver 5.5.

Now, when a user follows any link that has showgallery.php?cat= (anything), he gets redirected to our page not found page (404 error).

What's really odd is if I go into photopost/adm-cats.php?ppaction=cats&start=1 there are no categories listed except the default two.

I've checked the mysql table and the categories (181 of them) are there. If I go to the search page (photopost/search.php?), again, no categories listed.

I upgraded to PP Pro ver 6.01 but no help there.

I've attached a pic of my category pick list when doing a search and a pic from mysql just to be sure I'm sane!

oops .... I take that one back! I forgot the categories are drill down.

still no category listing though on search page or when trying to add file.

okay, I'll get that info for you.

In the meantime, by going to this page http://www.armchairgeneral.com/photo...ex.php?cat=625 I was able to generate these errors:

Warning: mysql_fetch_assoc(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /home/strategy/public_html/photopost/pp-inc.php on line 1147

In pp-inc.php that's

Content visible to verified customers only.

so it looks like the function ppmysql_query isn't returning anything when it should and then dying badly.

Looks to me like you forgot to run some upgrades from your previous versions. Now in Admin => Global Options and in debug option turn it to display errors then view the page and tell me the exact issue.
