Notification emails from Photopost not received

I have Instant Email Notification setup in my options so I can be alerted to updates on threads I'm interested in. But I'm not receiving any of those emails. I do not have a SPAM blocking program active on the server so I don't know why those would not be coming into my box. Any ideas?

try checking your host who does your mail and see if they find anything being blocked on their end. The issue has to be with your hosts mail filter or a spam filter on your end. I do know our site sends email out as I recieve notifications from at least 100 threads or posts a day on average or more from our support forums here.

Chuck I've checked with the server host and there are no filters being used on the site. What domain should I add to the whitelist to make sure?

photopost.com if this is the site you are having a problem recieving emails from.

I added photopost.com to my server whitelist and I'm still not getting notifications on threads I'm subscribed to. Very strange.

It has to be on your host's end though before it reaches the whitelist. I get notifications to every thread here so I know our email system works on this end.

OK here goes, first I have read other threads on the same issue but not found anything to help....members are not receiving emails when comments are made on their photo's.

I have photopost 6.02 intergraded with VB 3.6.9

Emails work fine for;

1. ecards
2. if you select to be notified on another user photo's...when someone replies
3. VB related items such as registering and PM messages

I can provide admin access if required.

Update:
I have just had my ISP investigate and after checking the server logs no emails got through from test replies I made however when sent a ecard the email notification arrived instantly! This must be Postpost related?

If a user wishes to be notified when a comment is made on their photo they must either elect to on upload select to be notified or view their photo and elect to hit email notify.

Basically I would suspect that they are not electing to be notified. If I elect to get notification on any individual photo I upload it does appear to work fine.
