Error creating thumbnail

I get the following when I try to upload a photo:

Error creating thumbnail! Error code: 127

Command:

"/usr/bin/mogrify" -size 100x75 -quality 70 -geometry 100x75 -unsharp 10 '/var/www/html/gallery/data/522/thumbs/IMG_0138.JPG'

My server people insist it's the software. I'm all upgraded to 6.0, but I'm still getting this message. What can I tell them to fix it?

Imagemagick is not installed on your server where you are telling the program it is. You need to find out from your host where mogrify exists on the server and update the path in the config settings or in global options set your processor to gd2 and see how things work.

Ah.. global options. I was looking for that. I was told the GD2 path was the same as the Imagemagick.

Ok, did that. Now photos upload, but thumbnails are not created. An example: http://www.albanyrowingcenter.org/ga....php?photo=447

Have you recently moved servers or anything? what error is given on upload. My suggestion is to make sure your data directory is 777 at every level beneath it which means every directory down.

I don't recieve an error.

And my entire directory already is 777.

My server has been the same for years. They may have done something to it though. But they insist everything should work fine.

Okay well check that specific thumbs directory for that photo

http://www.albanyrowingcenter.org/ga...humbs/hall.jpg

The thumbnail is not valid. Does the file exist and if so what are the permissions on that file? It should be 644 or 666.
