| Mysql error during registration
I have finally got v6 working on Win2003/II6 but now have a new user registration problem, the web site emailed me this error: Code: Content visible to verified customers only.
**Reading the newly released patches it sounds like this problem might have been resolved already but I havent d/l'ed them yet. I did run into the uniform thumbnail problem but got around it somehow. And trying to get ImageMagick to work is impossible, went for gd2 and it worked fine.
Please help. this is the LAST ERROR.

Yes redownloading the build and rerunning the upgrade should assist you. You can also run this query
ALTER TABLE pp_users ADD realname varchar(80) default NULL;

| One down one more to go
Thanks Chuck, downloading the new build totally fixed the registration problem I was having. That part works great now.
Now all of a sudden I have an error 1 with jpegtran. That worked before with no problems.
Something was fixed and something was introduced. I have checked all permissions on everything. It was working fine.
I have edited image-php with the "NT" instead of "Any" but didn't help.
Thanks

error code 1 for jpegtran is a permissions error code. It tells me either your jpegtran has issues or your permissions are not correct on your data directories.
If you remove jpegtran from global options do things upload fine? Please post the error here so we have something to work with.

Ok, took jpegtran out of the globals, uploads did work, but saw errors on the screen, then received emails like this:
An error was encountered during execution of the query:
SELECT id,fieldname,fieldtype,fieldoptions FROM pp_extrafields WHERE cat=500
The query returned with an errorcode of:
Table 'photopost.pp_extrafields' doesn't exist
** How do I query this? not a clue.
ALTER TABLE pp_users ADD realname varchar(80) default NULL;

I would suggest that you complete a valid upgrade running all applicable upgrade that you need to run. It appears to me you have not ran all the upgrades you need to from your last version forward. please select all upgrades from the upgrade script from your last running version through to the last 5.61 upgrade to 6.0.

This is not an upgrade. Brand new.
This is what I found. I just started from scratch. I reinstalled MySql4.1 and installed the web site again. When I ran the new build install that I got this morning there were errors creating the files exif.frm, extrafields.frm, photoextras.frm, and searchids.frm.. I checked the photopost database files and they were not there.
So I still had those files from the original v6 install in a backup directory so I copied them into the MySql photopost database and everything is working great. Except jpegtran.
So something happened to the install.php from the original v6 to the new v6.
Testing everything now and cant find an error so far, uploading, registration and commenting-working.
The jpegtran was working on the first v6, now it is not. So I will try to find out what else crashed all of a sudden.

Well on install what are the exact errors displayed when you try to install the application. If there is a mysql error it will be displayed and we would need this also please post a link to your site.
