| Lightbox integration doesn't work..at all
Photos just pop up in an html window no matter what I do.
Ex: http://www.majorleaguetalk.com/photo....php?photo=736
Any suggestions? Lightbox integration was my main reason for 'upgrading'

They do not work backwards that I am aware of.
Those should be the max trigger amounts and as long as the image is under those triggers it uses the lightbox if the image is over those sizes it will use the popupwindow.

Yeah, I figured that out. At first I assumed that anything OVER the trigger points would use lightbox. Makes sense though. Like I said, sometimes my brain works backwards. I set the trigger points above the max picture size so all large photos are displayed using lightbox.
Everything works fine now as you can see: http://www.majorleaguetalk.com/photo...at=501&page=11
Glad you guys included lightbox in this upgrade. I like it!

Lightbox, previously a photopost addon, is now integrated into the photopost 6.0 upgrade. Lightbox displays large photos in a popup javascript window instead of a popup html window. Its a much more elegant way of displaying photos. The photo is displayed without the frame or scrollbars of an html window and while the photo is displayed, the rest of the page has it's brightness reduced. Here's a live demo: http://www.majorleaguetalk.com/photo...at=501&page=11 (This site is best viewed with your browser in full screen mode)
Click on a thumbnail, then when you click on the photo to display a larger version it will pop up in the Lightbox window.

iloco you are not using the bigpopup window. To use lightbox you need to have bigpopup set to yes and lightbox set to yes. Basically if a file is under the lighbox thresholds lightbox is used and if it is over then the photopost bigpopup window is shown.
You have everything off and large images are being shown on your page.

Chuck here is a comment from one my members about Lightbox. Quote: |
The only problem I see with the Lightbox is- one can not right click to save a picture to ones HDD. I like to set them as desktop backgrounds to study them. Lightbox must use some kind of Flashplayer to view the pictures. No big problem for me, will just have to study on the way they were put together while I have them up for viewing.
| Is it possible I am missing a setting or is this feature not able to be used when using lightbox. Could it be added in a later update if it can not be done with this update. |

we have no control over the lightbox code. Any support or discussion on its features would need to be discussed on their site. We simply include there publically distributed code.

I see. Thanks Chuck I found a way around saving the pic.
Just right clcik on the pic and save as a web page complete and once saved to desktop, open it and then right clcik and save as before using lightbox. |

Make sure that in photopost admin, show photo options, that you have 'use anti leeching code' set to no. I'm not sure if this variable effects lightbox but it's worth a look.

Here's the settings I use: Upload photo options
Max allowable image width in pixels = 1024
Max allowable image height in pixels = 768
Trigger medium graphic height and width = 450
Save and display medium and large images? = yes
If photo upload width or height exceeds maximums, resize upload down to max dimensions? = yes Show photo options
Use popup window for BIG images? = yes
Use lightbox integration? = yes
Width to trigger lightbox integration (if enabled)? = 1050
Height to trigger lightbox integration (if enabled)? = 1050
Notes:
I set the medium trigger to 450 so that the displayed photo is fairly small and fits on the page without users having to scroll to see all of it (on most computers)
I set the lightbox triggers above what I know will be the largest photo size (1024 x 768) so I know that all large photos will be displayed using lightbox.
Here's a test photo for you to see: http://www.majorleaguetalk.com/photo...to=740&cat=501
Note to Chuck: In admin show photo options, the option 'width/height to trigger lightbox integration' is misleading. It should be reworded in future releases. These are actually points, above which, lightbox integration is disabled, NOT triggered.

Pass: test | You have the same problem I had when I upgrade to 6.0 in that lightbox is expecting images in this directory on your site: http://www.iloco.org/images/
Rather than go through a detailed explanation I will just say that lightbox is expecting to find it's own images in this directrory but the directory probably does not exist. This is why your lightbox window does not have the 'close' button graphic. The easiest fix is to creat the directory if it does not exist and upload the contents of the image directory that came with photopost.
I know this is probably not the best fix, but its the easiest that I can tell.
