Fatal memory error

A user reported that two of his albums are not displaying. I went to scan the database to see if that would fix it, but when I try to update the last photo field, I get the following error:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 8388608 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 11 bytes) in /var/www/html/gallery/pp-inc.php on line 369

This happens even if I select a category that only has a couple of images in it. I am using 5.62 with ImageMagick.

Any ideas on how to resolve this?

As I mentioned, I am not using GD, I am using ImageMagick. And I am scanning to set the last photo field, which as far as I know doesn't rebuild any images.

Have you confirmed Imagemagick works? The error you report though doesnt matter you must make add the ini_set line I noted. Your error is one because PHP is out of memory and you need to give more memory to PHP which what I posted does.

I added the line and it does work, so the issue is simply memory allocation unrelated to GD. Thanks for your help.
