Invite email links to Gallery registration

When an invite is sent out via the Profile area, the following link is provided:

http://www.gottapixel.net/gallery/re...nvite=riddolil

This takes you to the Gallery registration window even though we have user registration method set as v3.

So this leads to several questions.

1. What is the significance of the word "riddolil"? (username that sent the invite was techlady).

2. How do we force it to use V3 to register?

3. If it does indeed use V3, does this give the original referrer the additional points to send out more referrals?

I will pass this to Michael to answer. I have notified him to response as he would know exactly how he coded this to work or not work and then we can then best respond with likely fix should there be an issue.

For the time being, I have set up a redirect so that if anyone tries to go to the register.php page it takes them elsewhere.

Too many internal system additions to 6.0 no way to know if they are only for internal installs or not. Some seem to be some dont.

Honestly, I hadn't considered this outside an internal setup; clearly this doesn't work in a forum environment. I'll have to make a change to this.

I updated the register.tmpl and profile.tmpl templates in the current build; you can grab them and upload them to remove this option for non-photopost sites.

I just grabbed the most current build and in the v3 template area there is no register.tmpl file. There is one in the regular /templates, but none in the /templates/vb3 folder.
