Viewer can't Ungroup default Group by Member Category

When a category is set to Group by Member the Ungroup option doesn't work at the showgallery page.

This was an especially important feature we were hoping for because we want to set our gallery categories to Group by Member by default (to give our members individualized attention to the pics they have uploaded to the category.
But the important thing is we must give the viewer an option to Ungroup and view all pics by all members in the category.

I'm referring to the setting: Edit Categories > Category Layout

Interestingly the Default thumbnail layout (Edit categories) has a Group by Member setting.

If I use this Group by Member setting instead of the Category Layout setting,
- Group by Member shows as default in the category showgallery
- a viewer can Ungroup - to show all members pics in showgallery
- Only problem - the thumbnails of the Group by Member images (/showgallery.php?cat=xxxx&ppuser=xxx) do no show any details (thumbnail only)

when you group by member your tricking the script to use another showmembers.php like so.

Thats probally a bit of the confusion here because there is no longer a select box to sort as your no longer in showgallery.

I doubt that the Group by Member option (Thumbnail Layout > Edit Categories) was intended to be used as the Group by Member category default view sort as I imagine the Thumbnail layout option was intended for the other option in the dropdown.

However it does give the viewer ability to Ungroup - Group by Member/Category

... but I don't know why viewing Group by Member showgallery this way doesn't show details below the thumbnails.

Anyway, I hope the Category Layout > Group by Member option will allow the viewer to Ungroup Group by Member.

Then we can use the Thumbnail Layout option to specifically define other thumbnail options in the dropdown.
