I take it this is some random module outside photopost

If you upgraded vb and things got whacky I would suggest you recheck whatever steps you did to place the block whereever you placed it in vb

actually chuck, it is a random gallery module that i paid you to install on my website about a year ago... another programmer upgraded my vb 4 months ago and ever since, it has not been working and he can't figure it out, so i'm back here to you now.

can you fix this for me?

Okay well I dont see any mail from you but at any course if nothing shows on your vbadvanced portal page my suggestion would be for you to go back and make sure you have the featured photos module installed. Sounds to me like you upgraded and blew this out of the water. Feel free to post a url and a regular user login here

i think you have my email blocked or something, we go through this every time for the last 5 years or more.

i don't want to post urls here because i don't want people searching for my business, finding my behind the scenes discussions on how i run my business and what software i use.

so, where else can i send this information to you chuck?
you won't respond to private messages and you don't receive my emails.

can we just begin doing some custom work on the clock?
i have a whole list of stuff we've been going back and forth on for months.
i just want it done, no more time for endless discussions.
is this possible?

thank you.

Rob I have not talked to you in a year since we last did some custom work for you. However I did recieve an email from you on this issue and I replied to that email. If this is a photopost plugin box you can edit your inc_features.php and uncomment your $link and mysql_select_db lines and fill in the proper database information. I am really unsure what hack your using. What you need to do is in your vbulletin modules directory check out that random_gallery php file edit it and see what code is in the. You might have database settings in that file as well to update. There is not much I can see with the information provided.

As far as email being blocked there is no issue on my end. I got your email and did respond. You might want to check here on your end cause your right this is an ongoing thing for you as far as email.

If you wish us to do any custom work try emailing us at an email you are known to be able to email to maybe support@photopost.com?

Rob I have not talked to you in over a year. I am unsure what talk you are referring to but I got your email and responded on this issue and have not heard from you so I beleive the email blocking might be on your site.

As far as your photo block on vbadvanced your using someone's hack I dont know whose but the block is named random_gallery.php and it is located in your modules directory. I would suspect when you upgraded your database settings got changed maybe? You can edit that file and see if there are database settings that you need to update. You simply get a white page when enabling the block which points to wrong database settings or maybe a wrong server path to find a file included in that random_gallery block.

You can email us at support@photopost.com basically you need to use an email you know we get to talk with us via email and get the pertinent information to assist.
