Unable to uploade - Safe Mode is off in the directory for photopost

Due to security reasons I had to turn php safe on the server. I am now unable to upload. I put safe mode on the site but excluded the directory that has photopost .

Is there anything I can do to run it with that directory not being in safe mode?

Is running the new beta version and option? If Yes where can it be downloaded?

PS: The file upload feature of PHP is turned on the server

Safe Mode Needs to be off for uploads to work

It is off for that directory. Are you saying it has to be off for the complete server?

IT NEEDS TO BE OFF IN PHP

Our requirements are more than clear here

If you view your php info and it says safe mode ON then photopost will not work

Is it possible to set up photopost on a subdomain and point it back to the db of the forum on the domain. For example.

I would set up photopost at photopost.mydomain.com. This server would have safemode off.

My forum would be mydomain.com/forum on another server.

Would it be possible to integrate the login

you can integrate the logins if mysql allows external connections. If this is vb photopost you can not use the enhanced features on different servers and if the urls are different you will need to login to each app separately

It is a ubb forum and the main domain will be the same for both. Just that one will be subdomain. Will it work

sure set your cookies to work on subdomains and your good to go
