Sorry I can not be of much assistance here I do not own a MAC never have. The three browsers I use IE Mozilla and Opera your site looks fine. Could be a Safari bug? |
This happens to our site too, I came here hoping for an answer! |
your site looks fine to me. it's the same using Safari or FF on a Mac |
Safari is also available for the windoze crowd. maybe try loading it to see if you can duplicate the problem http://www.apple.com/safari/ |
cool will check it out I have IE Mozilla Opera and now Safari. I thought that was a MAC only product. ;) |

I just checked my profile, and wasn't sure how you knew which site to look at as it isn't in there. Would be great if you could let me know if this is the site you saw. Thanks. |
Your site looks whacked in safari to me but I am using a beta version for windows. You can do this as a test because for example I notice your header is different banners show in safari but not mozilla. Under Admin => Edit Integration turn off the 3 vb3 boxes to off and then tell me does your site view fine? |

Let me know how it views for you when you turn off the vb3 integration. We can then determine where the issue might be. |
Okay as I was waiting for a reply I decided to view alot of Photopost sites in safari and see no issues. Here is my site. http://www.reeftalk.com/gallery/index.php I can only conclude somewhere in your html code you have a missing html tag which is throwing things off. This would appear to be your issue your header and such as you have 136 validation errors on your page for the html. http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=ht...Inline&group=0 |
So sorry for the delayed response! Ok, I downloaded Safari, and yes, it looks all weird to me, also when I changed the 3 VB Integration settings too. Chuck, thanks for that validator link - I guess the header was created by someone else, so I wasn't aware it had 'issues'. I'll go through the link you provided and see if I can fix them up. Will let you know how I go. Thanks all! |
Not a problem hope all works out let us know if you need anything else. |
May I come back and beat a dead horse? ;) I'm still having trouble with Safari and how my gallery presents itself in that browser. I tried playing with the header and footer HTML code but couldn't for the life of me find it, so I ended up removing entirely the header, headinclude, and footer (except for the copyright) HTML code, just to prove a point. Well, it still looked the same, so I don't think it can be that. Any ideas on where else I can look? Thanks in advance for any help you might be able to give. Here is the link to my gallery: http://www.pickleberrypop.com/gallery |
You said it looks that way with or without vb3 well lets turn those switches off to begin with and send us via email to support at photopost dot com ftp information and admin login to photopost |
Ok, will do, thanks! |
Not a problem I have safari for windows |
