Bulk Upload Problems

The problem is that when I attempt to do bulk uploads from the admin user to another users album AS THAT USER I receive the two attached screens and then am dropped into the users album w/ no images present.

I have attempted to upload in a number of manners

- Uploading using a ZIP file which I am uploading through the web interface. The file is 4.7MB with a PHP limit of 8MB.
- I FTP'd the zip file to a directory on the file system - given 777 permissions to both the directory and the images. (No subdirectories)
- I FTP'd the contents of the ZIP file to the same path as above - given 777 permissions to both the directory and the images. (No subdirectories)
- I FTP'd the files to another web accessible file path - given 777 permissions to both the directory and the images. (No subdirectories) Then I attempted to use the "Retrieve all images from a URL:"

I ran through the same steps as above but this time attempting to upload them to the same album but as myself and not impersonating that user.

I ran through the same steps as above but this time attempting to upload them to one of my (admin) albums - same problem.

Uploading the images one by one by the web interface to the album works. The funny thing is that it when attempting to upload multiple images it never gets to the processing images page where it allows you to add additional information about the image - it just skips it. I have verified that the "Click here to bypass approval process and upload all files in directory" is NOT checked.

I think that my testing has been pretty exhaustive, but please let me know if I have missed something.

Chris

When you upload the ZIP file to the server, are you placing it into the UPLOADS/<USERID> directory? The ZIP file has to be in the userid directory corresponding to the user who you are uploading as (the path is displayed on the upload page, in fact).

You cannot upload a ZIP file from a URL; it's going to upload either an image or process an html page for embedded photos.

Also, unzip the ZIP file into the userid directory; that should help.
