Users dropped from members cat after photo delete

A user deleting thier last uploaded photo results in them being dropped from the member's category list when:

Show Photo Options > Show last photo thumbnail in member galleries listing? = Yes

This conditions remains until the user uploads another photo.

In Admin => Scan Database run the last option to rebuild member thumbnails

Yes, Chuck. That brings them back too. But it does not prevent it from happening whenever a user deletes his last photo and does not upload another. He will stay delisted from the member cat until either he uploads a pic or I run the scan.

It's this way with their Classifieds program too. After an item is sold and deleted in the Classifieds, the member is dropped from the list. This makes it impossible to go back and leave feedback for them, until (unless) they list another item.

Actually in classifieds only members with ads are listed and suppose to be listed. Thats the way its always been

When a person sells an item, it takes several days for the buyer to receive it and return to leave feedback. They can't leave feedback if the seller is no longer listed.

Am I missing something? How do buyers leave feedback for items that have been marked "sold" and are gone?

Yes this is not a bug and this is not a photopost pro thing so yes you can place suggestions in the classifieds suggestions forum on how you think might be a good thing for a future version

I need to bump this thread. I am having this problem with PhotoPost Pro PHP. Exactly as described: a user deletes a recently uploaded photo; then dissappears from the members list completely. The only way to get them back is "Scan Database -> rebuild user list / thumbnails" every time this happens, or when the user uploads again. Please help.

well are you running the latest?

You can always update the members last photo under admin scan database.

(1) I'm waiting for my order to clear in order to upgrade. I've been running 5.62.

(2) Yes, I can update the list by using that admin function you describe, but I shouldn't have to do that EVERY time a user deletes one of their recently uploaded photos.

Any other ideas?

Find around line 129 of showmembers.php which reads

Code:

Content visible to verified customers only.

Delete it, and replace with the following (you can change the 14 on the $twoWeeksBack line to something else if you want)

The member list will now show all members with current adverts AND members whose adverts expired up to 2 weeks ago.
