Image orientaion problem after upgrade Since the upgrade i have encountered a few problems. First off, the category thumbnails changed themselves when i relocated a few categories. Secondly and more concerning, the orientation of some of the thumbnails and photos in a category which wasn't moved, have changed http://www.wellenkamp.com/photopost/...cat/522/page/2 Any ideas why? |
Update, on trying to rotate one of the photos back to normal, I get the message "Sorry, this image type () is not supported yet.", same when I try to rebuild the thumbnail. The main (full sized) image appears to have gone walkies as well. I have rotated one which does have a thumbnail and if I rotate the photo, the thumbnail doesn't match. It only appears to be a problem in this one category. |
There is nothing in an upgrade that would change orientations so you need to reiterate more that you mean http://www.wellenkamp.com/photopost/...cat/522/page/2 what exactly is wrong with that? |
Well apart from many of them being upside down or on their sides and a couple of the thumbnails having a different orientation from the main picture or missing altogether, absolutely nothing. PS. they weren't posted like that, they were all fine. EDIT. Ok, if you are only viewing 12 per page, go to page 4, it starts with the picture rear gates at villebon. http://www.wellenkamp.com/photopost/...php/photo/1104 |
An upgrade can not change a pictures orientation only someone editing a photo and hitting rotate can it do that |
I notice that exif info is still showing below pics so which upgrade are you talking about exactly? 5.62 doesn't show exif info like that afaik. |
Sorry Chuck, but can't see that that could have happened, they are my photos and there are only three people with admin access and no mods, if it had been one or two photos and not twenty I could put it down to being done accidentally. I'm going to reset and re-upload where necessary and see what happens. |
No it doesn't pistebasher, I modded the template, it is in the mod section, I did that this morning.. |
