Error Code 1 I'm trying to upload pics and seem to be getting an error Quote:
|
Try removing this twice from your image-inc.php file Code: Content visible to verified customers only. |
Worked. Thanks for all your help. |
Not a problem at all see ya next time |
Just to add. A user just experienced this same error. I remove what was recommended above and no longer having that problem. FWIW, I'm using v5.62. |
Yes your version of Imaqemagick does not support that feature |
I and all other members are getting this error now when trying to upload photo's? Error creating thumbnail! Error code: 1 Command: "/usr/bin/mogrify" +profile "*" -size 0x100 -quality 70 -geometry 0x100 '/home/exmilita/public_html/gallery/data/500/thumbs/DSCF0004.JPG' |
You need to either remove the profile statement and or check your data directory to make sure it is 777 every level down |
Changed all down to 777 but still the same. Profile statement? sorry but need more on that one  |
Read this thread it should explain in detail what to do Especially this thread http://www.photopost.com/forum/showp...84&postcount=2 You can also test uploading by using GD2 instead of Imagemagick in global options and see if that works |
Removed the profile lines but still no joy. Also tried setting it to GD2 and got this. Sorry, this image type () is not supported yet. So still stuck  |
Then I would suggest you check permissions because they do not appear to be correct Your uploads and user directories at every level must be 777 This means the directories beneath them all the way down must be 777 not just data and uploads |
ok just gone through them all but just noticed i have a photopost folder in root directory with all files and then if i go down one level in the public_html folder there is also a gallery folder with all the files as well. Something tells me thats wrong or is it? |
Chuck, Changed the file permissions in the public_html folder where the path was showing in the error and now seems to be back to normal :) Problem seems because i changed the folder permissions in the root PhotoPost folder ( which did not get rid of the error ) but then came across the Gallery folder next level down in the public_html folder! When i changed the folders to 777 mentioned then in the error it worked. Many thanks but is it down to the double files and should one of these not be there at all? i know its working now so do i leave it as and forget it or is one of those not meant to be there? Michael |
The only files you should have are the ones that are truly where you have Photopost installed. Why do you have two folders do you have two installs? If your not using the Photopost folder but photopost is installed in a gallery folder you can delete the photopost folder |
Pass on that one Chuck, when i tried initially to install it i could not and you installed it for me. Between those faults you have gained access a few times to sort problems out but i am sure i had a PhotoPost folder in root folder after you installed it and there was also a gallery folder where the sites photo's seem to end up in. Every so often i use to download them for back ups from that folder. Whats happened i don't know unless i messed up somewhere but a bit reluctant to delete just in case the gallery wont work at all. nothing is never easy lol |
Well if we installed it then it would normally be in a folder named gallery. We only install it in a folder named Photopost when someone tells us that What is the url of this site I can tell you what is valid and what is not |
http://exmilitarymates.com/ and this is the link to the gallery http://www.exmilitarymates.com/gallery/index.php something tells me the photopost folder is doing nothing. |
You got it delete the photopost directory ;) I dont even see a photopost directory though http://www.exmilitarymates.com/photopost |
Deleted that PhotoPost folder on the server and all seems to be working OK, did find one and maybe more pictures not showing a thumbnail but i have corrected that . Many thanks Chuck  |
