Gallery becomes closed?????

Since the upgrade to 5.62 we’re experiencing a problem where the boards are seemingly closing on a random basis.

Are there are any methods other than the admin interface where the board can become “closed”?

Can it close itself under certain conditions, such as if it detects system or database problems, or if it becomes closed during some administrative task, etc.???

Nope for the software to be closed you have had to close it in Admin => Global Options

This of course is talking about a non vb3 integrated install because in a vb3 integrated install if you close your forum you also close the gallery

Well it is a vB3 integrated forum but the forums were not closed. Only the gallery was closed under global options in the gallery admin panel.

Yep and thats why it was closed then. Only someone who is an admin can go in and close it
