Album problem

I have a situation where a user has 101 photos grouped into three albums. For some reason, I think after I ran a scan to fix a delete problem in another gallery, only one album is now showing, with 11 images. At the member gallery display, it shows 101 images, but when you go to member gallery. the two larger albums don't show. The user can get to them using My Albums. The albums are not marked private.

I'm using the latest version of vB and PhotoPost. I have tried running the scan to update the image counts, but that didn't help.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

What version of software are you using and also are these albums perhaps assigned to some other category and not the members gallery? You can run the scan database update last photo thumbnail

The albums will only show in the members gallery if they are not assigned to a category

As I mentioned, I'm running the latest version.

I also ran the scan to update the last photo -- no change.

The two albums that are missing are parents to other albums. When the user tries to assign the child albums to these parents, they do not populate the parent.

How would I tell if the albums are assigned to a category? I don't see that option in the album edit.

A little additional info. If I go into admin and select Manage Albums, I see the child albums and the non-displaying parent albums. But if I edit one of the child albums, the Album Parent dropdown does not list any of the three top-level albums, so I cannot assign the children to any parent.

Chuck,

A very strange thing happened. For some reason, the albums are now displaying again as they should. I didn't do anything additional, and did not reboot the server -- I just all of a sudden got a note from the user that everything was back to being ok. The only thing that happened in the meantime is that the user who had the problem posted a comment in another user's gallery.

I sure wish I knew what the issue might have been. If you have any ideas what I can watch out for, it would be appreciated.
