| Larger photos don't show
I upload photos and everything works, but it appears that if they are 1024 or larger when I view the fullsize all I get is a red x. I have the size allowed set to 1024x1024 and resize if larger.
Here's a link as an example http://www.nextgenmusclecars.com/gal...oto=1295&cat=2
Any suggestions

In admin => storage options is the path correct. You can hit revert and save twice to load the correct path from global options if this is not correct.

If I turn off on the fly image protection it works fine, but then I don't get my watermark.

Okay the other issue that would affect large images not showing. Not a big deal. Just go to watermark options or image protection options and make sure where it states the server path to the watermark make sure the path is correct and since your using on the fly watermarking that image must be a png image

The watermark does appear on all medium images as well.
Also it appears that if the original image isn't much bigger than the medium one it works, just with 1024x768 and such is where I am seeing the issue.
my watermark (changed base path to generic so I don't post my server path)

You can post links here for us to see because I use on the fly watermarking and see no issues with this function as long as the watermark is correct and the path is correct in storage options as well

Well, just checked, and I am not sure if it was just magic, or retyping the path and trying save a few times, or I did make the pp-php.inc setting change for memory you suggested for my batch upload problem, but it seems to be working now.

| Similar problem
Hello, just from yestarday I have this excelent application.
I have a similar problem, and I notice that uploading an 669x1000 image the watermark on the fly work fine (medium and big size), but another one with 803x1200 in the large file view I only get a dot or in the popup option a blank background.
In the medium size view, in both images cases the watermark work fine, the problem is only in the large view (using the popup mode or not).
The size upload limit is 1500x1500.
And another thing, the watermark still in the right bottom using any option in the admin.
Thanks in advance

Please post a url to your site and have you verified that the storage options url is correct in admin?

Sorry, but the site have adult content, is not explicit but I think inapropiate to post here. I can send it to you via pm.
The weird thing is that work with 1000x1000 images and less, the storage options are correct. If this was incorrect is not logic that this dosen't work in any case?
Thanks for the quick response

Ok, I set the upload size limit to 1000x1000 and upload a big image 1500x1004 and the upload process resize it to 669x1000 automatically and the watermark work fine in all sizes. The problem is when I set the limit over 1000x1000.
I already fix the problem of the watermark center align deleting the few lines like you explain in another post.
I could live with 1000x1000 images, but this is to weird and I would like more size, I'll appreciate any help
regards

Ok,
Look at www.ninfas.com.ve/gallery
I set the upload limit size to 1500x1500, as you can see the "test1" image is 803x1200 and "test2" 669x1000. Both images was uploaded with this original sizes. The watermark only work on "test2" in the big size viewer.
thanks

So the file views fine without the watermark. There might be a restriction showing those files with an on the fly watermark over a certain size.

Hi Chuck S!,
It's been a long time since my last post in this forum. Everything worked well but today my gallery is completly crazy: http://www.egiptoforo.com/fotos/show...php/photo/2183
My watermark has dissapeared and the large images don't show. There is no watermark pritection enabled, but anyway, i missed some mediu pictures: http://www.egiptoforo.com/fotos/showphoto.php/photo/578
If i Enable on-the-fly image protection then i miss all the medium images, and i didnt touch nothing, i was just uploading pictures when i realized.
I had the pictures, the original ones or larger ones outside the web directory root.
Please help me. I wanted this week to upgrade but now i don't know what to do.
Thanks

well if nothing shows if your on the fly is enabled then possibly your watermark image is corrupt try turning off to use the overlay when using on the fly and see if the medium displays.
Your large images make sure the server path is correct on storage options as it appears we are not finding the large images where you tell the program where they are.
