Localhost Install Error 5.6.2 - XAMPP

Odd thing about this is my path has been altered (in bold) the added 'mpp' screws things, config file is being written to and folder perms im sure are ok, not using IIS, but XAMPP for windows/apache

Any ideas? cheers

Well your path is not right but your not giving me a true path to guess what your issue might be. On the config portion of install make sure to use forward slashes not backslashes and then according to the install docs set permissions on the data and uploads directories at every level to 777. On windows this means READ WRITE EXECUTE on guests IWAM and IUSER accounts.

Yup, all forward slashes like so "C:/program files/server/xampp/htdocs/gallery/" (all lower case also) did the trick and installed correctly, thanx for the tip off
