Ubbthreads 7.x usergroup refresh problem

Hi guys,

I added a new user group to my forums and wanted to bring rules in around it in my photopost. I go to refresh user groups in the admin panel and it is not bringing in my new user group and shows 2 empty blank groups.

I know you knew about this from before and I was wondering if this was fixed. I upgraded tonight to photopost 5.62 as well without a problem. The refresh of the user groups isn't doing what it is supposed to be doing.

Any thoughts ?

I have no idea what you mean by we knew about this before since this is the only post here on this.

I am also not seeing any issues here but for me to test this I will need to find a UBB 7 copy of the software. This function looks totally correct and valid. The query is sound and by your own post the refresh works cause the new groups exist in your photopost now your just missing the group name although for the life of me looking at this function I do not see how

Ya we discussed it before. I took the advice of this thread and it worked.. I had to use my DB tools and delete part of the existing user group structure for the import to work properly. Before it never appended new data for some reason.. I fixed it but it was cludgy.. Of course after importing the new user groups I had to reset security.

So it works you just have blank usergroups inserted

it works .. It did do the blank inserts too because when we delete a group in UBB it doesn't decriment or completely remove the old group. It just kills the name it seems.

it only worked after I deleted the existing usergroups in the photopost table first. then it picked up the new group I added.
