5.62 Order of pics changes at second upload page

We have uploads set to 10 upload prompts.

I often upload a group of pics with same filename/different image number, and upload them in the sequence I want them displayed.
Example:
ThisEvent-574.JPG
ThisEvent-586.JPG
ThisEvent-575.JPG
ThisEvent-579.JPG
ThisEvent-581.JPG
ThisEvent-577.JPG

What happens is that on the second upload page before submitting, the images are re-ordered numerically.

This didn't occur before 5.62
Our gallery default is most recent latest.

I've been puzzled why the sequence of pics haven't been uploading in the order as I go to great effort to prepare sequence before-hand and finally found the reason why.

True. We had a complaint that we weren't sort the images, so we added a sort. Just one of those "can't please everyone" things, I guess. You can find the call to "sort()" in bulkupload.php and comment it out.

As the saying goes, you can please some of the people some of the time but you can't please all of the people all of the time

These are the 2 instances that I found the word sort in the bulkupload.php file

bulkupload.php"; Line 164: 164 sort($dirnames);
bulkupload.php"; Line 637: 637 sort($dirnames);

so i commented out these 2 lines and it seems to work

// sort($dirnames);
