Member that canno upload photos

I just spent over an hour trying to walk a member through uploading a photo and can't figure out what is going wrong.

He has already uploaded 11 photos as recently as January 22.

He has tried on both of his computers, one of them is a Mac, the other is a Dell PC that we tried both IE and Firefox.

He is selecting the photo from his computer, giving it a title, and selecting the upload/submit button. The option to "skip upload and process files already in your upload directory" is NOT checked.

When he clicks upload/submit, it takes him to a screen that says "images uploaded successfully, then forwards him to the gallery. Both of his computers are skipping the window where you "process" the files.

I have logged in with his username and can upload a photo without a problem, and I have double checked everything imaginable to make sure all the options showing on his computer are the same as what shows on my computer.

I have not idea what to do or try at this point. I thought I had version 5.5 installed from the upgrade I paid for in November, but my config file says 5.3, so I not positive which version I actually have. I know that sometimes the config file doesn't get changed with some software.

Any help or advice here is greatly appreciated as I am at a loss as to what to do.

Is the file that he is trying to upload over 2mb?

You can find your PHP max uploadable filesize listed under PHPINFO in your admin panel.

You can not upload files larger than this without alter your server php settings. Most cases your host needs to do this unless you have a VDS or dedicated server
