User name change in vBulletin has messed up user's...

use of the gallery. For some reason, when I changed the user name in the forum (vBulletin) admin area, after that, the user has said she can no longer upload to the gallery. When she created a new user name, and tried to upload, it worked fine. So, it's not her computer. Any ideas what happened?

More info from her would be needed to see why she says it does not work

When a username changes on the forum you need to as admin periodically use the scan database tool to realign usernames on photos and comments but her changing her name should have no affect on logging or anything as thats handled through the forum usually

I did the scan database tool...still doesn't work. This is her error reported by her.

1 - I go to the upload page. I browse my machine for the files I want. I've tried doing just 1, 3, or filling the whole list. I have tried filling in all the details, and tried leaving everything blank. I have tried putting things into galleries other than the Member one. I have tried uploading from my server instead of my machine, using a URL. I click submit.

2 - It goes to the page that says "Preparing to process image list."

3 - Then, almost immediately, it takes me here:
INTERNAL SERVER ERROR

An internal server error has occured!
Please try again later.

That has nothing to do with usernames it sounds like. It has everything to do with her uploading large files that are causing PHP to stop. There are many threads about this on here when using GD2 as your image processor since it is part of PHP. This should help you

Try clearing your uploads directory of all directories and files

Then edit your pp-inc.php file and at top above the error_reporting line add this line

ini_set("memory_limit", "40M");

This should give PHP more memory to process files.

Clearing the directory won't hurt the existing photos on the boards?!?!
